CHILD FEEDING PROGRAM 2006

In cooperation with Feed the Children Foundation and the Office of Quezon City Mayor, LGDFI conducted a nutritional program for 250 malnourished children in Brgy. Balingasa, Quezon City. The program started from November 2006 to February 2007. The children were fed with meals mixed with Vitameals in order to hasten their nutritional recovery. Their height and weight development were regularly monitored and recorded every month. The children gained an average of 2-3 kilos in weight and an average of 1-3 inches in height upon the program’s accomplishment.
