LIVELIHOOD PROGRAM 2006

1. Batangas – Region IV A
LGDFI received one hundred thousand pesos (P100,000.00) from CIBAC Party List for the implementation of a livelihood program in Brgy. Darasa, Tanauan, Batangas. This was released through DSWD Region IV-A. Food carts were released to twelve beneficiaries nominated by Darasa’s Barangay Chairman Dodong Ablao. The beneficiaries were unemployed and had no source of income. Each beneficiary was given a mobile food cart, complete with utensils, for them to start their own “squid ball, kikiam, fish ball business”. Before awarding the carts, an entrepreneurship training program was conducted to educate and motivate the new entrepreneurs.

2. Nueva Vizcaya – Region 2
Four (4) units of hand tractors were donated to the Mapataa Farmer’s Association in Caliat, Quezon, Nueva Vizcaya on September 6, 2006.
